PROAIM MB-600 Camera Sunshade Matte Box

OVERVIEW:

The Proaim Camera Sunshade Matte Box is a 15mm rod-mount matte box for lenses with 95mm or smaller outer diameter.

It is height-adjustable on the rod clamp for different-sized lenses, and compatible with lenses that have a focal length of 35mm or

longer. It includes removable top, bottom, and side flags. The frame and rod clamp are aluminum and the matte box is made of

durable plastic. Both 4 x 4″ filter stages rotate a full 360°. One filter holder is for 4 x 4″ filters and the second is for custom 4 x 4.56″

filters, though it also supports 4 x 4″ filters. Both rotate a full 360°. Included with the matte box is a fabric donut, or “Nun’s Knickers”,

that keeps light from leaking around the lens to flare any filters you are using. Interchangeable aspect ratio masks help prevent

extraneous light from entering the matte box and potentially flaring the lens.

THE BEST FILTER HOLDERS:

The MB-600 has two 4×4 rotating filter holder(s) perfect for square and polarized filters. Both rotate a full 360°. Smartly designed filter

holder(s) allows you to install or remove filters without disturbing the whole setup.

WIDE COMPATIBILITY:

The MB-600 Matte box accommodates camera lenses up to 95mm in diameter.4:3 and 16:9 Interchangeable Aspect Ratio Masks allow

this matte box to be used with both standard and wide-angle lenses. The Mask can easily be attached or detached with four small

screws in the front of the matte box.

CONTROL THE LIGHT:

The Proaim MB-600 clamps safely and securely to the front of the lens, creating a light-tight seal.The Fabric Donut or Fabric Knicker

prevents unwanted light from hitting the lens and producing unwanted flares.The Aluminum top flag and side barn doors give extended

control over light. The top flag folds down flat to cover the front of the Matte box/hood & protect your lens from any debris, dirt or dust on set.

EASY ROD MOUNT:

The 15mm Rod Adapter allows quick and easy mounting on 15mm rod support camera rigs. The aluminum adapter features height adjustment

up to 2.5cm increasing compatibility of Matte box to adapt different camera lenses. It attaches to the bottom of the matte box to make it usable

for multi-purposes within different setups. The Riser Adapter can be separated from Matte box, if required.
