In March 2015, the SXT line of Arri Alexa cameras was announced by Arri which supports in-camera upscaling of Apple ProRes to 4k resolution and Rec.2020 color space. The Alexa camera system is simple to operate and also reliable in most extreme environments and versatile to cover a wide range of workflow and budget requirements. Arri Alexa SXT camera has a built-in video transmitter which makes the camera smaller and lighter when compared with an external transmitter.
